Conway recorded it on one of his 1970's albums as "I Think That I Just Wrote My First Country Song". Dean's recording features Conway as a guest vocalist in 1983. A lot of Dean's Hot 100 pop hits crossed over to the Easy-Listening Top-50 during a span of 7 years (1964-1971). A classic country radio station that I frequently listen to plays Dean's version of "Little Ole Wine Drinker Me" even though the only recording to appear on the Country singles chart from Dean was, as you pointed out, "My First Country Song", in 1983.ACcountryFanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14445878735424575807noreply@blogger.com
